The Toledo District is the most southern District in Belize and dominated my rural and multi-grade schools. The District is poorest in Belize and separated from the rest of the country by 10 miles of unpaved road. There are 50 Primary schools with around 6200 students and 2 secondary schools with about 1200 students.
